if you find a follower who has visuals you like, but does not support the NPC modifications currently on that character that was provided by, say USSEP (Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch), then you can use this tool to merge the visuals of the follower with the changes from USSEP. Please comment if you'd know any fix for it. Ability to merge NPCs tweaks and visuals.-ex. The process of making an NPC and saving it seems so simple but I don't know what I'm doing wrong >_<
#Skyrim npc editor mod
I've tried a number of things, such as saving them to the desktop, then copying them to the data folder, using TES Mod Manager to un-corrupt the files, Unchecking and checking various boxes for the mod in both Nexus Mod Manager and Data Files, and I excluded all mods in the plugin settings in the editor except for skyrim.esm, update.esm and ApachiiHair.esm, but STILL but nothing works. I thought I had everything in the right place and did everything right, but the game crashes after it gets to the main menu. The readme said not to include the mod in the load list in the Nexus Mod Manager, so I didn't, I just ticked the mod in the data files in the game's launch menu.
I've tried so many solutions, but none worked for this problem! I had the save to BSA box ticked, and put it in the data folder. This does not happen when I uncheck the NPC mod in the data files in the launch, or remove the files. It gets to the main menu with the skyrim dragon, but none of the menu options load, then it just closes or crashes to the desktop. Now, my dilemma is that the program runs fine, everything is okay when creating my NPC, BUT Skyrim crashes when I load it. You can change what faction they're in, whats in their inventory, what spells they use, what clothes they're wearing, and like a crapload more. It's called Skyrim NPC Editor, where you can take ANY NPC in the game, and change hair, eyes, mouth, it's pretty much a character creation like you do at the start of the game, but for NPCs.
#Skyrim npc editor how to
I'm computer savy, I know how to use the mouse and get around the CK, I just need help with the specifics in places I have yet to delve.I hate coming here to dA to ask for help cuz it just feels weird, but I seriously can't get this stupid program to work and I can't find answers anywhere else. Then I don't have to start from scratch, and all that. I have found plenty of guides that tell one how to make new NPC with copying and such, but I don't want a new follower, I want to change one that already exists. So, after that ridiculously long-winded backstory, here's the real plea I have.Ĭan someone give me a fairly detailed guide on how to edit EXISTING NPC stats, combat class, etc. 4, even though I altered her min lv to 6. I altered her appearance a little so I could tell that the mod was working, but, she's still lv. So, I opened up the CK, turned her stats into a Combat Ranger class, but all the changes I made didn't stick. I should use the creation kit to turn her into someone who can actually fight. After my house was attacked by bandits, I found that my adoptive daughters fought back, but my wife (wielding an enchanted dragonbone dagger) ran away and cowered.
I married Ysolda, made her a potential follower so I can use the Ultimate Follower Mod that allowed me to make her wear what I wanted (the wife of the Dragonborn living in a huge house with loads of money should not wear farm clothes). I don't know much about editing with creation kit outside of changing appearance, so here I am, asking for help.
